My Brilliant Apocalypse – Thematic Manifesto
1. CREATIVITY
We are all natural born creators. With a song, a story, or some innovation inside us. We have the potential to create entire worlds with our imagination.
“If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.” Equally “If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you.” (The Gospel of St. Thomas)
We believe this applies to the collective. As the ancient Hermetic Axiom states: “As above, so below, as below so above.” The microcosm effects the macrocosm.
Ultimately, we believe the world would be a more peaceful, harmonious place, if everyone took some time each day to follow their creative impulses.
If everyone followed their bliss.
The entire world around us depends on us to bring forth what is within us.
2. HERO’S JOURNEY/APOCALYPSE
Like all Hero’s Journeys, Barry’s evokes our own. What makes Barry’s, and the Author’s narrative different – is their journey through the theme of Apocalypse.
Apocalypse has become a term to describe the End Times. Something to dread and fear. However, the ancient Greek origin of the word is translated as “the end of an age of oppression, due to the release of previously hidden knowledge, creating a golden age”.
The journey both the Author and Barry go through transcends their innate fear of death and cataclysmic destruction, resulting in their arrival at their respective “Promised Lands”.
Together, they reclaim the word “Apocalypse”.
3. SUBVERSIVE/ANARCHIC
Throughout MBA, we satirise society, mainstream culture, popular trends, elitism, wealthy inequality. But our biggest target is the Globalist agenda that is attempting to create two classes. The filthy rich, and the extremely poor. We place under the microscope their transhumanist, digital id, smart city and “you will own nothing and be happy” proposed future.
Laughter is the best medicine. It enables us to release unexpressed emotions and heal trauma. Laughter lightens us and the world around us. It empowers us by bringing seemingly gargantuan size problems down to size.
When brought down to a more manageable size – solutions to problems arise.
Laughter activates the power of transmutation. And it is this Author’s intention, that our expression of My Brilliant Apocalypse contributes awakening and healing to the world.
AUTHOR’S NOTES:
My Brilliant Apocalypse is created with the intention that audiences are empowered to see deeper truths of themselves, and the world around them, to decide for themselves which future they wish to co-create.
The energy that fuels MBA is a transcendent movement, assisting humanity to reach the critical mass required to reject the repugnant totalitarian grid of control and oppression being implemented by the Global Elite before our eyes.
This has always been the Author’s Intent. May it be felt through every word and action of our story.
