Adrian D’Aprano is a gifted channel and author of seven scripts that have gone into production, two that are still in development. Including four completed parts of the My Brilliant Apocalypse series.
Adrian has been involved in fringe theatre since 2002, has a lifetime of developing his writing and performance capabilities. As well as 25 plus years in business development.
Adrian is proud to bring the My Brilliant Apocalpyse series to life.

Alex Rohr-D’Aprano has performer and creativity in his DNA. Born to two gifted actors and writers, it was natural for Alex to follow in the footsteps of inspired creativity.
Taking like a duck to water in his first official production in the world, Alex’s performance demonstrates a natural gift of characterisation, timing and delivery.
In addition to his work playing a central character in the series loosely based on himself, Alex has been a consistent contributor to the script, and a very useful production and creative assistant. There are some genuinely hilarious and powerful moments in the script born directly from Alex’s imagination.
In addition, Alex is heavily involved in the creative side and in front of camera for the Social Media of “My Brilliant Apocalypse”.

Janine McGrath is a Melbourne based actor whose previous career revolved around dance.
Since turning to acting, Janine’s embodied roles in short and feature films, television, theatre and TVC’s.
In 2024 she shape-shifted into diverse characters for My Brilliant Apocalypse – The Return of Barry Brilliant. She also she featured in the play Pane di Casa – A Taste of Home, headed up the RMITV series Evenings with Janine (Channel 31), soon to film its second season, had recurring roles in two vertical series - My Moonlit Alpha Prince and Drowning In Love, supporting roles in two films, and had a ball reading for Melbourne Writers’ Theatre/Gasworks Script Lab.
2025 has bolted out of the gate for Janine, with roles in two more short films and a season with Metropolis Monologues for Melbourne Writers’ Theatre where Janine performed the 15 minute monologue Snakes & Ladders by Donna De Palma.
Janine relishes new challenges and collaborating with other artists to make words come to life.

Paul Canlan Paul Canlan is a Welsh actor, writer, director and filmmaker who has worked in the industry for over thirty years here in Australia and the UK.
Currently touring his show, “Welcome To Us”. A comedy about a welsh lad living in Australia and dealing with the ups and downs of the modern relationship.

Mari Kundalini is a legacy MBA collaborator, giving her talents across all development reads for MBA so far. A pioneering Melbourne dj throughout the outdoor festival evolution, Mari is still active in the circuit today.
An extremely versatile and gifted voice performer, Mari brings exceptional range and presence to all her colourful characters.

Andy McPhee is one of Australia’s most prolific actors. Living between the US and Australia, Andy has four decades of experience in film and television. Andy has well-known turns in such diverse works as “Fat Pizza”, “Sons of Anarchy” and “Wolf Creek”.
Andy gives a tremendous amount back to the industry as a teacher and mentor to many up-coming talented performers.

Deborah Gaskin is a passionate performer with a professional approach to all her roles. She has trained at Sydney Theatre School. Her goal is to forge a career in professional musical theatre.

Hannah Sleeth is an extremely gifted voice and stage performer heavily involved in community and musical theatre. She is a prolific worker who’s talents have barely been accessed so far in our production.

James Dean has been acting since the age of 8. He has completed the 20 week full time course at TAFTA, various short and feature films and has just started a production company “New Realm Pictures” with two acting colleagues.

Luke Kerberus is an extremely gifted sound producer and engineer who was a legacy member of MBA. Without Luke’s initial commitment, and his generosity with Nekro Wolk Studios, MBA would not have got off the ground.

Julia Tahu is a legacy MBA collaborator, and has thrown herself enthusiastically and selflessly into whatever role has been asked of her.
Initially supporting the production as a performer for the initial development of the work, Julia stepped up and was crew and lighting operator for the 2024 Melbourne Fringe Festival season of The Return of Barry Brilliant.
Julia is a full-time nurse and will always be our “Auntie”.
